Job Description Requirments QUALIFICATIONS:

Staff shall possess defined knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated through educational and experiential requirements and meet requirements to provide FS services according to OPTUM Idaho, the Department of Health and Welfare or other overseeing agency.
FSP is a parent/adult caregiver who has lived experience and specialized training through understanding of another parent’s situation via the shared emotional and psychological challenges of raising a child with a mental health diagnosis.
Must have a GED, high school diploma or higher education.
FSP must have completed 40 hour family support training through Idaho Federation of Families and received Certification as a Family Support Partner.
FSP understands and lives by Idaho’s Certified Family Support Partner Code of Ethics.
FSP must have a current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and a valid vehicle for transportation to and from client’s homes.
FSP must pass a criminal background check.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Planning and implementation of family support services.
Work with participants to achieve short and long term family goals targeting self-advocacy, recovery, resiliency, hope and support.
Work with other providers engaging with the family to help coordinate care and advocate for family needs.
Provide timely and accurate documentation of services provided.
SPECIAL DUTIES:

Development of individualized treatment plans and periodic reviews, as well as updates of goals and objectives.
Use creative problem solving methods to teach, role model and support the families in achievement of goals.
Provide crisis support outside of designated session hours, which may be given by telephone or face-to-face visits.
Complete appropriate documentation daily, weekly, and at each review point.
Meet weekly with supervisor and entire CBBHS staff to learn new techniques and address participant needs.
Attend Continuing Education Opportunities, 10 hours per year, to maintain credential as FSP specialist.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Quality Care Counseling Center is hiring a part time Certified Family Support Specialist.  A Family Support Specialist has the life experience of raising a child who is living with a behavioral health diagnosis is a unique parenting experience best shared with someone who successfully navigated the various systems of care. Qualified applications will have completed the Family Support Training Course and will be a certified Family Support Specialist through the State of Idaho.

Idaho Behavioral Health is looking for persons to provide Family Support Services to families who have children diagnosed with a mental health or co-occurring disorder. Duties of a Family Support Partner include teaching family members how to develop self-advocacy, role modeling behaviors and skills needed for resiliency and coping, helping families to utilize their strengths and teaching caregivers and children about causes of disorders and about using evidence based interventions. This is a part time position; however, it will likely transition to full time.

Qualified candidates will have completed the Family Support Partner training course through the Idaho Federation of Families and will be certified as a family support partner through the state of Idaho.

 We are looking for a Certified Family Support Partner to help start Family Support Services at Tueller Counseling/Unified Healthcare of Idaho.

Family Support Services provide assistance to caregivers who are caring for a child diagnosed with a mental health disorder, or a coexisting mental health, developmental and/or substance use disorder by strengthening their role as parents through the provision of teaching and support services, and reducing the likelihood that the family and member will become isolated, disempowered, or disengaged.

Portneuf Valley Family Center, Inc. is looking for a Certified Family Support Partner to work in one of three locations of Pocatello, Blackfoot, and/or Soda Springs, Idaho. This position will start part time and work towards full time as the need arises. Applicants must be a Certified Family Support Partner and be in good standing.

A Certified Family Support Partner is a person who has lived experience caring for a child with a mental health disorder and has sufficiently navigated the recovery process to maintain certification standards. Applicant should also be organized, have good working knowledge of family support programs and mental health issues.

Job duties include: Assisting caregivers who are caring for a child diagnosed with a mental health disorder, or a coexisting mental health, developmental and/or substance use disorder.

Hired individuals will assist and advocate with caregivers to strengthen their parental roles and teach supportive skills needed for resiliency and coping.
